Glowplug issue

Hey all, hoping to get some insight.

For starters 2021 Ford f250 6.7, deleted with 75 hp tune, push to start.

Have recently run into an issue where I noticed when I do my remote start or push to start that there is no delay for the glowplugs no matter the temp and the glow plug/wait to start light doesnt illuminate.. Seems to be fairly recent (within the last week). Didn't really take notice until this morning when it was 40 degrees outside. Hit the start button and the truck immediately barked off. Was a really hard start with some white smoke (that white smoke isn't unusual after the delete).

No dtcs, no CEL, checked all fuses and ohmed out the glow plugs. Im suspecting that its a failed glow plug control module, but I would think that would throw some sort of code. However, I did read that if there is a complete failure, it could not cause any codes (but, only hearsay at this point). I also am unable to connect to the GPCM through my scanner which would lend some credence. So, basically, im asking if this seems to be the most likely culprit or if there are other things I should check before ordering a new one. Thanks.
