Practicing the wrong thing?

I’ve started noticing something in my own game.

If I miss a couple fairways and 3-putt a few times, I’ll usually head straight to the range next session. Feels logical in the moment.

But when I actually look at multiple rounds instead of one emotional memory, the pattern isn’t always what I thought. Sometimes the driver wasn’t the real issue. Sometimes it was GIR quietly being too low. Or distance control on approaches.

Curious. has anyone here tracked their stats over several rounds and changed their practice based on the actual numbers instead of feel?

Did it help?
