Career on the Rocks - recovery possible/when?

A thing of perpertual bother and stress for me has been my Career. Although I've done well monetarily (saved some, spent some) so far, can't seem to spend more than 2-3 years in a job - whenever I intended to, I was let go because the company itself scaled / shut down. Other times, I made the switch. Currently going through another lay-off.

Since the past few years when my child was born, I have become intensely focused on spiritual pursuits and see no meaning or value in anything material / wordly, except my child and my continued thirst for knowledge in general. So, it's even harded to maintain an ambitious outlook for my career.

Also, recently one astro remarked that my current situation is more due to Vaastu Dosha of my residence right now. He even warned out-of-the-blue that there maybe more than 1 marriage on the charts [my current is unconventional / inter-religion and has been dreary/lifeless for a while]

So a bit worried about so many uncertainties, would appreciate some insights.
