What’s the road to plays semi professionally online?

I’d like to start playing in bigger events and tournaments with some friends of mine that are between level 8-10 face it. I’m currently a level 9 face it and still understand I have a lot to learn, but I would like to start playing online events with them competitively. I know face it hosts a lot of events, but what other tournaments are there for players who don’t want to play lan, but want to play at a higher level?
