Copyright for audio on a blog
I write a personal blog on WordPress for my kids to remember me by one day. No one reads it, it's just my little vanity project because I was sad to have nothing left after my father died. I am currently trying to pass my ABRSM grade 7, and wanted to upload some recordings of myself (not the exam itself. If I ever get that far). All the composers are 18th and 19th century, except Hubay, but I'm pretty sure he's been dead more than 70 years. The arrangements themselves are copyrighted, but the Paganini cantabile and Beethoven op.12/1 is not an ABRSM edition (I'm doing the performance grade and have picked other approved pieces). Would I breach copyright? Would anyone even find out?
