AITJ for punching my dad for stealing my Malcolm in the Middle S4 DVD box?

So a family gathering was starting soon and I was cleaning my room, so I put my Malcolm in the Middle Season 4 DVD box on my chair in a glass case. I was very happy with it and just knew the guests were going to love it.

The dinner with the family started and I started slurping the juices of my Capri-Sun all the way. My dad was angry because it was "unprofessional" but I tried not to let the demons deep inside of me come out.

When the dinner was over, some of the kids came into my room. When they saw the DVD box, they became increasingly more scared and ran away. This is because 8 years ago, my brother-in-law drew scary faces on Hal, Dewey and Reese.

My dad saw all the kids run away from the room and arrived to confront me. He told me I needed to put the DVD box away, but little did he know the demons inside of me slipped out like a turd. In a fit of rage, I started beating him up. Others joined in and also beat him. Eventually my mom called the cops and they came to me to arrest me, but I explained the situation I was in, so they understood and left the house.

Now every time my dad gets angry at me, I remind him of this story and he laughs and gives me a sandwich.
