State return?

Has anybody who filed in January received their state return yet? I got my federal pretty quick but the state is dragging their feet. Im concerned that because we live in nyc they are finding ways to adjust the amount being given back after mamdani said they may raise property taxes. I know that might sound stupid but im wondering what's the delay?
