help my gf and I plz
My gf and and I are both asprining physicans in college rn. I go to a private t25 uni away from home and she goes to a ~t50 public uni where were from (quite good for premeds and nurses tho because of large hospital network). We both essentially have 4.0s going into junior year, are planning on a gap year, have been (and will be) consistantly doing research for the rest of college, do clinical work, and participate in standard but meaningful extracurriculars (tutoring, volunteering, etc).
We would like to go to med school together, and I know that the obvious answer would be "apply to as many schools as possible and pray you get into the same one." However, she is quite tied to her alma mater school for a couple of reasons. First of all (prob most important), one of her parents is a big-shot, high h-index, surgeon who makes hella bread at her university. We think that she would get a tuition discount if she went there. Additionally, she's much closer with her family and I think wants to stay near them. Bottom line, if she gets into her alma mater, she's going.
We both very much want to spend the time after college together (since we're doing long distance rn), and I am willing to take multiple gap years to be with her. The problem is what does that mean for my career? Is there even a way to guarantee that we end up living together throughout our entire educational journey, or does it seem like most likely we will have to keep doing long distance at some point?
plz help. i would like to order one objective solution please thank yew very much.
