People have grown so comfortable lately to trash-talk anyone on the internet, enough so that it borders on harassment. None of them do so with the awareness (or they are aware and just choose against being decent people) that somewhere behind the screen, there is a real person with very real feelings that could be deeply affected by what you're saying. These creators started these shows as personal projects, and the fact that they've became immensely popular and beloved at all was an immense stroke of luck, not to mention a massive win for indie animation.

But remember, none of these things were made specifically to cater to *your* vision. It is a story the *creator* has made in hopes that other people enjoy their work. If Gooseworx decides to smite everyone in the cast in the last episode purely out of spite because of everything that's happening right now, that's what *she* wants to happen. That's something neither I, you, or anybody else has any say in.

None of y'all are crafting the artwork, composing the music, writing the story, recording the voices, putting this level of care and weight to the project quite like the creator themselves. I bet that not even *half* of this community is supporting the artists behind the screen by buying the merch, which directly goes back to Glitch, the company producing said merch, so they can use said money to support the series' development. These people are doing basically *all* of this for free.

Regardless, actually think about how you interact with creators and remember that whenever you say anything about anyone, those kind of words could be received by real, living human beings, not just content machines with no feelings of their own. If you think messaging the creator of any show you like solely to give them a hard time is a good idea, stop. Go outside, sit under a tree, and by all means touch some grass every once in a while.
