RG405V Booting Issues

Hi there,

I bought my RG405V a few years ago, and installed Daijisho on it with my own ROMs. I don’t use it very often, but over the last year I noticed that it doesn’t boot up nicely. Usually I hold the power button, the fan will come on, and then a louder fan noise will happen when it’s loading Daijisho. Now only the first fan noise will come on, Daijisho doesn’t boot, and the device just turns off.

I thought it was just a battery issue, so when I connect it to an outlet, it actually turns on just fine. However, it’ll show me battery at 97%. I’ll play for about 10-15 minutes and the battery went down to 84%. That was a few days ago, so I tried again today without plugging it into an outlet, and again it doesn’t boot up with Daijisho and just shuts off.

Is this just a battery issue? Is it the launcher? I appreciate any and all help.
