CC2 binding issues

Just thought I would post this since after this latest firmware update the carbon's pretty much gone to crap there's no other way of saying it You have two options if you bind it to the matrix app then it doesn't want to bind to your PC it'll keep telling you that the code you're giving it is incorrect It asks for a six digit PIN code Ella Google will tell you go and go into your account tap the account you tap the account icon and guess what It just shows you're username and your six digit pin that's associated to your account not to the printer So you're stuck What I found after trial and error and resetting the machine and spending hours with this damn thing that when you get to that part where you set up the Wi-Fi and it shows you your QR code before you scan that code look below it there is a six digit pin That is your PIN so your option is to then not bind it to the matrix app which is mostly for resin printers anyway or open up your slicer in Windows and add device and then it'll ask you for the pin and if it doesn't want to take it you have to manually add it go figure on that one but when you manually add it there you can put the code in and guess what Now you're bound to your PC and you're good But guess what The QR code is gone so you can't bind it to the matrix They say that you can unbind it from your PC to them bind it to the matrix app I haven't done it cuz I don't want to take the chance because right now the only slicer that'll work for my carbon is the LEGO slicer because the orca slicer they haven't found a way to get it to communicate with the carbon 2 It works great with the carbon one but not number two and I use orca slicer a lot so now I lost that great slicer so I have to use the Elegoo one which honestly to me feels like a make a world light version and many times when you download and open a model it gives you all these issues and errors because guess what they were made and make a world or something and we know how bamboo is very proprietary and they don't want to share anything till you're only left with downloading the STL files which is fine as long as you know what you're doing and how to set it up and program it but the fact that you can't even use the 3MF files that the creator has already set up with the proper settings supports and everything else that really bites So I just thought I'd let everybody know if you're having issues binding you'll have to reset the machine and try and do it again and before you bind it look at that code but then you got two options The PC or the phone app also you can't roll back because of the new firmware update it's got a lock on it somehow So if you have any issues and you want to roll back you're going to have to contact Ella go support directly to get the proper key because the firmware has a name I guess that it needs to properly do it otherwise your SOL Good luck everyone
