Kanade Yoisaki(Project Sekai): A musical prodigy who baffles her single father by creating a song far more emotional and beautiful than anything he'd ever made in his career in just her first year in junior high school. He's happy with her talent but starts having pessimistic thoughts about his own lack thereof, causing him to overwork himself trying to create something of an equal caliber to the point of collapse, causing him to be hospitalised and making him lose his memories of her ever growing up. Thus she blaming herself for her father's mistake and also blames herself for her mother's death, claiming herself to be a curse. However since her father had encouraged her to keep making music right before he lost his memories, she decides to adopt his overworking tendencies, gaining a saviour complex and obsessively making music to heal others struggling mentally while completely neglecting her own needs to the point of starvation, even collapsing similarly to how her father did on one occasion.

Sanji(One Piece): initially introduced as a chef of the floating restaurant in the East Blue, Baratie, Sanji is repeatedly shown to have self sacrificial tendencies after he joins the strawhat pirates, fighting with Zoro who similarly tends to put himself in front of his crewmates, although while Zoro does so because he believes he needs to become stronger, Sanji does so because he believes he's only worthy of being in the crew if he sacrifices himself for them. We learn about his glamorisation of self sacrifice in the flashback where we see how the head chef of Baratie, Zeff, originally met Sanji, on a sinking ship where Zeff saves Sanji and the two end up as the only survivors stranded on an island. They seemingly share the food into even bags, and when Sanji runs out, he tries to steal from Zeff's bag, only to realise that the bag never had any food, and that Zeff had given him all of his own and eaten his own leg to survive, and we later see his reason for his lack of self worth as we learn he's the least favourite son of the tyrannical eugenicist Judge Vinsmoke, king of the Germa Kingdom. And that he was tortured and bullied by his brothers and jailed up and disrespected by his father, only managing to gain kindness due to his mother's love and gain freedom due to his sister making way for him to escape (and hence also explaining why he puts so much emphasis on loving women)

The Hollow Knight(Hollow Knight): created by the pale king to be born without mind, without the capacity to think, or feel, or to have emotions, the hollow knight is the child of the pale king who exists to act as a vessel for the mind controlling infection spreading throughout hollownest, as the infection would not be able to spread if it was locked to a body with no mind to corrupt. Despite the hollow knight being born from the void however, the sheer pressure put on the vessel to not think at all and to exist without emotions causes it to develop a sense of duty and responsibility for the task it was given, and it starts thinking that it must prove its worth to its father as a perfect hollow vessel, ironically causing it to fail at its own purpose and starting the events of the game as the infection starts to spread anew

Sacrificing yourself to prove to yourself that you're worth existing
