Breakup

So, I met with a coworker after a work party and we quickly decided to date (this was 2 months after the break of my engagement)

We went on a few dates and brunches over 2 months and even kissed a few times. I hosted her at my home and we decided to meet after a week after her family visit.

The next thing I know, she texted me saying its good to know me and didn’t want to take things further.

I pleaded with her indirectly to stay and reiterated that I want to date her (to clear her mind off of any doubts she would have of me still thinking about my ex partner) if she wants it or happy to be friends and she requested some space. We haven’t texted ever since!

Tbh, I’m pretty devastated about what has happened and has been constantly replaying situations in my head to check if i had anything wrong to upset her. Its all uncertain! I am having heavy urges to text her and see how she is but am being respectful of her request for space. How should i proceed?
