I am making a new pc build, should i wait few months until next gen x3d cpu launches?

I am making a gaming pc, and i hear a lot about the x3d chipset's performance on gaming. I prefer ryzen 9 since it is more balanced toward both workstation and gaming. Should i wait for next gen or i should simply buy now and forget?
