how do y’all not give up

i’ve been playing PZ since release on and off and maybe my overall personality shines more strongly with this game but, every time i start a zoo i end up getting frustrated and giving up.

i understand comparison is the thief of joy but i want to really love what i’m looking at and creating and i just cannot get behind the building aspect. i look up tutorials and it doesn’t do anything for me.

i wanted to make my own shells for buildings and they’re just bare-bones walls and a flat roof and looking at them aggravates me but maybe i’m just not creative enough to imagine something in my head and make it happen.

for the people that love customizing buildings, how did you go beyond novice? is it simply doing it so many times that one day it just clicks?

i find myself enjoying creating very natural looking lush habitats. i WANT to create a more modern enclosure or even a fully indoor habitat but every time i think about building it i immediately feel overwhelmed
