Alright, so the linked video is far too long to expect people to casually check it out, so I'm going to drop what I think are the biggest snaps it makes.

The Berlin Film Festival is being slammed because it's claiming to be apolitical because of Israel (and fascism in the U.S.) -- which you guessed. Everyone there cheerfully and enthusiastically wielded politics when it was convenient for them but now that Palestinians are being genocided they want everyone to shut up and let them make money. Notable hypocritical asshats include:

• Neil Patrick Harris who couldn't say whether fascism was good or bad and, when asked about the same, \*literally talked about the weather\*. 80 years ago if he'd been in that spot, Harris would have been sent to a concentration camp.

• From the event's website: "To this day it is considered the most political of all the major film festivals." The event organizer put out a statement declaring their art-isn't-political stance and some entertainers (including Ruffalo and Tilda Swinton) issued a pro-Palestine rebuke. The organizer complained of harassment and promised to harass those who insisted that they take a stand. You read that last sentence right.

• One of the artists there claiming apoliticality wrote a book in the 80's that included the text: "Every film is political. Most political of all are those that pretend not to be: 'entertainment' movies. They are the most political films there are because they dismiss the possibility of change. In every frame they tell you everything's fine the way it is. They are a continual advertisement for things as they are."

• Lebron James can't think of a single thing Israel has ever done wrong. This dumfuck says he's following in Muhammad Ali's footsteps.

Political Film Festival Is suddenly Anti-Political. Bet you can guess why before clicking this link. Looking at the flair is cheating, cheater.
