Returning Resident Application Unavailable??

Hi!! Im looking to dorm at SJSU again next year. Last night I tried to start the returning resident application, but it said it was unavailable due to a “past due charge”. Im confused, because all of my payments have been on time, only time I could really think of was a $50 charge for an online textbook I accidentally paid like 30 minutes late. Confused, I opened mysjsu to look at my payments status, and it says I owe $3.5K for housing?? For context Im on a payment plan where I pay roughly $3k a month, but the thing is my mom maid a payment for $4k SPECIFICALLY for housing DAYS before the first payment was due?? i even have the email saying the bursar’s office received it.. what should I do??? Am I cooked or is there anything I can do😭😭
