PayPal G&S shipping question

Looking to sell through PayPal G&S. Buyer has offered to take care of the shipping. Do I lose any protection as the seller if I do not handle every aspect of the shipping? If the buyer claims the package was never delivered or item was damaged in shipment, do I have to put the claim in with the carrier?
