I haven’t watched every match fully, but from what I’ve seen, one thing is clear: every team seems to be coming with a proper plan against India.

Against USA, Netherlands, Namibia, and now South Africa, there’s a pattern. Opponents are not giving our batters pace. They’re sticking to slower balls, cutters, and early spin. Even opening with a spinner to attack aggressive players like Abhishek and Ishan. It feels deliberate.

They know if they bowl full pace, they’ll get smashed. So they simply don’t.

Meanwhile, I’m not sure what India’s counter-plan is. Are we preparing for slower tracks and change of pace? Or are we just relying on power hitting? Against the same South African bowlers we smashed for 200+ in bilateral series, we now struggle to build even a steady innings.
Varun going for 47. Hardik conceding 20 in the last over. Batting collapses under pressure. It feels like other teams are adapting specifically for India, but India isn’t adjusting back.

In T20, strategy matters as much as skill. Right now, it looks like others have a plan for us.
Not sure we have one for them.

TL;DR:
Other teams are clearly planning smartly against India (slower balls, early spin, no pace), while India doesn’t seem to have an effective counter-strategy in big World Cup games.
