Question about career path

Hi, I'm currently working for a social housing r&m subcontractor as a AQS. I work with NSF SORs, I'd like to know what my prospects are for the future as I'm a little worried I'm pigeon hole-ing myself into this.

Later on in my career I'd like to hopefully have the opportunities to move outside of the UK. I'd like to know if specialising in something else or staying in social housing would be more beneficial with this goal.
