Need insight on small business share proposal

General

Does a share of 30% my husband 30% me and 30% husband’s friend with 10% (going into the business) make sense?

We are making a small business in fiber optics and I am being asked to contribute $15k, husband has nothing but I’m less worried about his contribution.

Friend is contributing a “ram truck that is something like a year 2022, 2023”. Idk if it’s his own truck that he already purchased prior or is meant solely for this job. It just feels I’m contributing more than this friend is for what we are both getting percentage wise in the share of the company. Also, is a business with all three of us even practical or something that can work? I’m speaking from a relationship standpoint.

With that being said, the friend and my husband all have the knowledge about our business; how to set it up, how to actually do the job, prices, what to buy, plan, who to hire for help, contacts, etc… I would also be tasked with working as the administration for the company which I know nothing about but want to do.

I’m mostly concerned about the fairness of the share proposal, if I’m being asked to give more more than I should be.

Any help or insight is appreciated. Thank you.
