[Real] (02/22/26) Hi, you can call me “Yubi”

(English is not my first language, so sorry if I don’t understand everything.)

Hi everyone,

You can call me Yubi. It's the name of a character I created, and I like to think that somewhere out there, she exists separately from me.

This is my first time posting on Reddit, and honestly, I'm not sure what to expect. But the thought that someone might stumble upon these words by chance is somehow comforting.

I don't have any friends, so I mostly spend my time alone with my hobbies.

Most of all, I draw. I do digital art. Sometimes I even like my work, though more often than not I feel a sense of shame about it. But maybe one day I'll gather the courage to share them here.

I also read. Since June, I've started building a small library. Oscar Wilde and Fyodor Dostoevsky are particularly close to my heart. And from more contemporary authors, Donna Tartt. Their books have a mood that I find strangely comforting to be in.

Sometimes I write poetry. I don't think they're good, but I enjoy the process itself. It's like being able to say things you can't say out loud.

I also really want to learn to play the guitar, and maybe someday write Vocaloid songs. My favorite producer is MASA works DESIGN. His music has something unsettling and beautiful at the same time.

Music is almost always with me. I listen to a variety of genres – from classical music to rock. Usually separately. I like how they create completely different worlds.
