Navy Federal Schedule

Hi everyone,

I work part-time at Navy Federal Credit Union and was told that since I’m part-time, I’m not eligible to have Saturdays off.. I understand weekends are busy, but I was hoping to have at least one full weekend off occasionally to spend time with my family.

Is this standard policy for part-time employees? Has anyone else experienced this? Do you think it’s fair, or is there a reasonable way to request occasional Saturdays off?

Having some weekend time with my family is important to me too. I’d appreciate any insight or advice.
