Shanghai and Beijing in April

I’ve been trying to figure out what the weather’s like in April but I keep seeing mixed answers 😅 I just want to pack the right clothes. Anyone here been to Shanghai and Beijing around that month?

Also, please suggest some hidden gems and must-try restaurants. I’m also thinking of doing a birthday photoshoot studio at an affordable price, any recommendations? Thank you so much po.
