A 2nd version of ore-like prima materia. I had ore with various materials embedded in it previously. I like the idea of the geode better. There's layers and it looks more like the mandala of the self, doesn't it? The idea was that they are like meteorites, the meteorites represent certain psychic material, I was thinking in a response to psychically stimulating interactions with the environment, so the meteorites are outside the atmosphere coming in, paralleling the impressions. So, let's say you have a strong psychic impression. You analyze the impression and determine what house it belongs to. The houses cover general topics of life, including spirituality, so the meteorite lands in whatever house the psychic impression is related to. The houses cover general topics that are given specificity by the sign. A sign is picked that colors the experience of the house and this determines the type of geode. The geodes have different layers and taking them apart and using the parts to make different things was the idea; a way of integration. This is heavily connected to astrological and occult(alchemical) symbolism and my astrological knowledge is pretty weak, so I'm learning and tinkering with it still.

In this example, I use Scorpio, so as the meteorite-geode enters the atmosphere, it collects a residue from the local environment (the house) that turns into a glass shell from the heat during descent. The glass is taken off the geode and can be used in pieces or ground up and added to glass or clay or other base materials. First a hole is drilled into the center of the geode where the elemental quality of the sign is, Scorpio is a water sign so its center is filled with a water soluble liquid "water", earth is stone, air is gas, and fire is oil (non water soluble liquids, high reactivity). Around the elemental center are the geode crystals which are the sign as irreducible, so they are Scorpio crystals. The next layer is a rock/ore layer that can be broken apart into the sign and the parts of the sign (element, modality, ruler). Aspects to the sign can be used as different geodes to alter the material. I pick the sign for the psychic content then use whole sign houses, so if the psychic impression lands in the 3rd house and the sign that colors it is Scorpio, then Sagittarius is the 4th house. I do not change the order of the zodiac. It was something I considered, but they really need to be taken together as a cycle.
