Paw Grip Suggestions

Looking for recommendations on grips for dog paws. I have a senior dog and we have wood floors. When is standing, you can see his legs slowly sliding. My vet had mentioned there are kinds that you can brush on. I found a brand called ‘Pawtology’ with a paw friction kit that is what I think is the kind my vet may have been talking about. Has anyone used this or any other products that worked really well? For reference, my old guy is small - about 10 lbs. Also, he wouldn’t wear any other the grippy socks, he would act really weird and probably not want to walk.
