Neighbor building deck, invasion of privacy?

Location: Maryland, USA

Hi all, neighbor is building a deck, from the deck they would be able to look into my son’s room and my master bedroom. I think this exact situation is why they don’t have any windows on this side of their house.

They are also looking to build a staircase within ~3-5 feet from the fence.

I looked on the county website and couldn’t find a permit for the deck.

What do you all think? I can post pictures if allowed but I can’t seem to do it right now.
