Being a Roblox game developer is difficult.

A decade ago, Roblox games had a more classic feel to them. There were no cash grabs, no brainrot, and no low-effort “slop” games. It made it easier for developers to create games that they were actually interested in making. Nowadays, the only true way to get a game to the front page is to flood it with microtransactions, brainrot trends, and mechanics that grab cash from young children.

I want to express my own ideas by creating games that I would love, and that do not depend on a cash-grab side to make money, but instead use fair and honest methods.

I myself have been a Roblox developer for almost a year now, making small but steady improvements every time I work on a project. I have uploaded 3 major games, with the highest one receiving over 15k visits. The only real way to even get games on the front page is to use advertisements, and ads are very expensive, with many professional developers recommending spending over 20k Robux. It’s things like this that make it hard for developers who don’t already have funding to grow bigger.

Through Please Donate, I have earned 17,231 Robux after taxes. Out of that, 11,137 Robux was donated back to the community through the game, and in total I have given away 3,000 Robux through giveaways in this subreddit.

Through this message, I would appreciate it if you could support me with small tips so I can continue funding my game development journey.
