PS Remote play - No Controls?

Just purchased the ROG Ally X and I am trying to set up the ps remote play. I downloaded and when I open to attempt to play the app opens through Crate ok but once it shows up on screen I cannot utilize the decks controls to control the screen..? Not sure what I could be doing wrong. Sorry I’m new to this, can someone assist?
