Ketamine should be legal for recreational use
According to the most recent data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), ketamine was the only substance involved in 24 fatal drug overdoses between July 2019 and June 2023, or an average of approximately 6 such deaths per year.

Ketamine has an extremely wide safety margin unlike alcohol.
You would have to snort several grams of pure ketamine in a short sesh to come close to dying.
Bladder damage is over exaggerated, I personally don’t think ketamine is that addictive and if I was to do several grams a week which I wouldn’t then I would just stop for weeks or months when I start to get bladder/abdominal pain/discomfort and need to urinate more frequently.
Alcohol actually has a very narrow safety margin. MDMA, ketamine, cannabis, psychedelics and benzos have a wider safety margin than alcohol but ketamines safety margin is much higher than mdma and benzos.
It’s almost impossible to overdose on ketamine alone, at least when using it responsibly and following harm reduction.
Not saying it’s safe but if you have pure ketamine and you know how to use it responsibly then it’s far less dangerous than alcohol and that’s a fact, wether it should be legal or illegal is an opinion
