Group Tour vs. Solo Travel

I am a 22y Female from Canada looking to book a solo travel trip for the last 3 weeks of April 2026. I have never travelled outside of Canada/America but am at a part of my life where I am ready to explore but those around me aren’t - so I’m going solo! I have been going back and forth between Costa Rica or Europe (Spain, Portugal, Southern France). I want to gain opinions on whether do go solo while staying in hostels or if I should join a group tour. I enjoy a good night out but fear that group tours will have too much going out for me. I also don’t want to rush through cities too quickly. TIA!
