Hi everyone,

I’m honestly stressed and need advice.

I went to an authorized Royal Enfield service center for my first service. My bike has Garware matte PPF installed.

Without my permission, they applied “vehicle shiner” on my bike.

As per Garware’s official guidelines, using harsh chemicals, polishing compounds, or gloss-enhancing products on matte PPF can damage the finish and may even void the warranty. Matte PPF is NOT supposed to be polished or treated like glossy paint.

Now I’m worried:

•	Has my PPF been damaged?

•	Has my warranty been compromised?

There’s more.

When I gave my bike for service, I clearly told them I do NOT want chain lube. The service advisor said, “Okay, we will remove it.”

But:

•	Chain lube was added to the invoice.

•	Then it was manually struck off later.

•	When I complained to RE support about the vehicle shiner, the service center replied saying they “removed vehicle shiner charges and refunded the customer.”

•	What they actually removed was the chain lube line item — NOT the vehicle shiner.

So basically, they misrepresented facts in their response to support.

I escalated the complaint to Level 3 in Royal Enfield support.

Now things got weird.

Today, two guys from Royal Enfield visited my house when I wasn’t home. They asked about me. My mom was alone at home.

I don’t know:

•	Why they came home without prior confirmation

•	Whether it was to “discuss” or intimidate

•	Why this couldn’t be handled officially via email/call

I’m honestly worried about my family’s privacy and safety now.

What should I do next?

•	Should I file a written complaint?

•	Consumer court?

•	Legal notice?

•	Ask Garware officially if my warranty is affected?

•	Or am I overthinking this?

Would really appreciate guidance from anyone who has dealt with similar issues.

Thanks in advance 🙏

Royal Enfield service center applied vehicle shiner on my matte PPF without permission + shady invoice changes. Now they showed up at my house?
