Patent pending on a platform to hold politicians accountable — what should I do next?

My Brakes are good on my vehicles, I was not in the Epstein Files, I am generally happy so no suicidal thoughts, have not committed any crimes. Also generally healthy. Now, after saying all that... heres the goodies:

I could really use some honest advice from people who’ve built civic tech or launched platforms.

I recently filed (patent pending )on an idea I’ve been working on that’s focused on

·      giving regular people more control over what they want their elected officials to act on

and

·       creating real accountability when those officials ignore their constituents

The goal isn’t just another petition site. The vision is a structured platform where:

·       Citizens submit issues and policy ideas

·       The community votes to prioritize what actually matters

·       AI helps turn top items into serious, workable proposals

·       Elected officials’ responses (or lack of response) are publicly tracked

·       If they ignore their constituents, there’s now a clear, visible record of it (and a fun way of seeing their ratings for this)

·       Tracking of how politicians are funded and from whom

·       A Portfolio build out of their voting record (think Mortal Kombat or Madden ratings in categories, but for political things).

I come from a federal/state/local public service background — not a Silicon Valley founder — so I’m trying to be smart about what move gives this thing a real shot.

Where I’m at:

·       Patent is filed (provisional)

·       Concept is clear

·       I don’t have cash, and I need a programmer to build this out. I have some low end mockups but am not sure how to raise funding to do it. I thought of bringing this to reddit in hopes of the gamestop like backing, in order to finally stop allowing the fed to tell us what is good for us and for politicians to be accountable to the people they represent (legally of course). But, I’m good with advice too.

What I care about most:
I don’t want this to be another “cool idea that goes nowhere.” I want something that actually:

·       pressures officials to respond

·       empowers everyday constituents

·       and restores a little trust through transparency

In the patient, I believe I have a viable way to accomplish this.

For folks who’ve done something like this:
So what’s next, funding it? How should I go about doing that?

Appreciate any straight-up feedback!
