People who ship celebrities

This is just so creepy to me. I’m a big shipper, I love shipping, but I don’t understand doing it to real people. That’s an actual person you’re thinking about being with another person, not a fictional character. And the people who do this always act like the celebrities are fictional characters. All the fan art and fan fiction just makes me so uncomfortable. Imagine someone was insisting you’d be cute with one of your friends and making creepy, often sexual art/writing about it. That would be so uncomfortable.
