Full Stack Developer (2+ yrs, React/Node/Python, AWS, AI Integrations) Moving to Dubai, Seeking Advice & Referrals

Hi everyone,

I’m a Software Engineer currently based in Pakistan and will be relocating to Dubai in March/April. I’m actively looking for Full Stack Developer opportunities and would genuinely appreciate guidance, advice, or referrals from this community.

I have 2+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade applications.

Tech Stack & Experience:

• Frontend: React, Next.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Backend: FastAPI, Django, Node.js
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Docker, Nginx, CI/CD pipelines
• Authentication & Security: OAuth2, JWT
• Payments: Stripe integration
• AI Integrations: OpenAI API, RAG pipelines, vector databases
• Experience deploying scalable systems in production environments

Currently working as a Python Developer building AI-powered full-stack applications with real-world deployment and scaling responsibilities.

I don’t have professional references in the UAE yet, so I’m trying to network and understand:

• Which companies are actively hiring junior-mid level full stack engineers?
• Is local UAE experience mandatory?
• Any recruiters I should connect with?
• Is it better to apply before arriving or after landing?
