There‘s more to this nightmare but here’s the cliff’s notes:

I have a $50 promotional offer: “complete 3 shop and go orders by march 2nd for $50 bonus.”

Tonight I was stoked cause I got 2 shop n go orders at same time to complete the 3. At register, I clicked “submit later” when it was time to do the receipts because I didnt want to hold up the line. Later, when I clicked “submit receipts“, the app went in a glitchy loop, where it prompted me to pay when everything was already paid for. trust me, no option. Just a loop.

After being on support a while, she tells me “heres the address, use your own gps and deliver orders”. I did it, so customers wouldnt pull their tips.

However, now im stuck with the app thinking I still need to complete the pick up. I message support and say “please mark my deliveries as delivered. support agent confirms with both customers that both were delivered. then he says, “only way to out of the app glitch is to cancel the orders”

I say, “no, unacceptable cause then i wont get my $50.” He says “oh well.”

I contact support to give me my bonus, they say “we cant give you your bonus cause you need to complete 2 more deliveries.”

Well I fucking did!

The nightmare of diligently shopping, finding replacements, spending an extra 1.5 hrs on support, talking to customers to find their appartment numbers, carry heavy shit up stairs, then uber cancels and fucks me.

The moral is: dont deliver off app. and 2. support is a joke, they’ve pulled their support phone number too.

Seething. Uber screwed me.
