I finally finished designing the interior of our villa. We are a family of four with two young children. The house is being built in the south of Spain. Ignore the crossed over house on the left as that is only a requirement from the planning authority because the villa is being built on two plots and they required us to design both houses but the second one is just a hypothetical for the future. For now it’s just simply more garden space.

Starting from the bottom there’s a full basement/garage underground. On the ground floor, just to clarify the square around the staircase, that’s an elevator shaft for possible future dependencies/disabilities… moving on, we have a large bedroom, bathroom, living room, dining and kitchen (the kitchen designed the floor plan is not accurate as it was only placed as a placeholder, I’m attaching a new design that better illustrates the layout but it’s not finalized), laundry room/pantry and staircase leading both down to the basement and to the upper floor.

Upstairs there’s a bathroom, three large bedrooms and a guest room, a gym and a balcony that is accessible from all the large bedrooms. Yes, I realize there’s only one bathroom for that many bedrooms but we are not the type of people that hog the bathroom so I didn’t seem necessary to add more just for the sake of it.

Let me know if you need me to clarify anything further, if not I welcome your input and improvement ideas.
