Are Germans naturally just lovey dovey creatures?

I’m facing what i wanna call a problem but i feel rude calling it a problem but it’s really confusing me.

I’m not from Germany and never been to Germany but on day like 4 years ago my snapchat suddenly started suggesting me German friends and i was bored so i started adding, a girl texted me and we started chatting and just having stupid conversations for like a month and suddenly she was like “i love you” i thought it was cute and i explained it was futile cuz we probably would never meet. Anyway in that time i started chatting with another girl and after a while she did the same thing and dropped the love bomb.

Mind you i never tried to make it look like i was going for the romantic route. But still it kept happening every time it literally happened with FOUR girls.

So i thought maybe i somehow make it feel romantic cuz I’m chatting with a girl and i can’t control it so what about i make a guy friend?

Can someone please tell me if germans are just cute like that or is a group of friends messing with me?
