What's people's views on sitting down to pee?

Made a comment on another sub about sitting down to pee in my home.

Some of the comments I got in return were really weird and unhinged. Like it's a slap in the face to my masculinity and it's super weird.

Was a good bunch of folk on my side tho. So was wondering what's the view on this?

And just in your home or when visiting friends/family. Not disgusting public toilets.
