Finally figuring more out
It’s been slow going, but I’m piecing together more of what happened with the therapy when I was younger which is something. I know my brain’s mostly repressed it, and I panicked bad at first while researching it, but I feel better trying to know what happened so I can work on it better.
I didn’t realize at first, but part of what my parents chose to do was an early intervention program to “stop me” from becoming autistic, and that from the fragments I do remember and what my mother told me afterwards, I was probably just a toddler when I was put in it.
It’s been slow going, but I’m also finding out more about the “therapy techniques” used and so many mysterious issues I have are finally making sense. I’m still working on figuring out how to work past it, since issues beyond this have given me some difficulty trusting therapists. I have ideas though, which means there’s a path forward
