I feel like I wasted my 20s, and I want to get my life on track, what are some skills or activities I can try?
29M. After I graduated from University at 23, I decided to move to Japan. I lived there for six years and taught English. I'm heading back to my home country. I dealt with heavy depression both before and during my stay there, and while heading home I feel like I didn't learn any skills or have any experiences that will translate at all.
I'm quite nervous that I'll have a lot of difficulty with finding a good job, and feel like teaching English to Japanese kids/adults (in English and Japanese) won't be useful careerwise. Honestly I have no idea what to do next besides trying to get into teaching, which I'm not sure I want to do.
Sorry for the rambling post, but I just want to know what kind of skills (whether self taught, at school or in trades) other men have learned that really help them set up well careerwise.
