I’ve just published my first book on Amazon KDP.

I’m actually the author of an award-winning novel that, unfortunately, was never published due to some issues and irresponsibility from the publisher. Because of that experience, I decided to take a different route and move to Amazon KDP.

My main novel is still not fully ready (the translation is in its final stage), but I didn’t want to just sit and wait. I wanted to start earlier, understand how Amazon works, and go through the whole publishing process myself. So I decided to publish another book I had already written — a different type of book, but one I believed in.

I have to say, the entire process was a new and genuinely positive experience. From entering the book details, uploading the manuscript and cover, to waiting those 72 hours for it to go live — it was exciting to see how everything works behind the scenes.

No matter how the sales go, there’s something special about seeing your own book officially published and available. That feeling alone makes the journey worth it.
