Schengen Visa France

I’m applying for a short stay schengen visa for tourism. I am able to show proof of funds as I work full time in the United States.

However, my boyfriend paid for flights + accommodations, which I had mentioned were gifts from him in the cover letter. Should I add any additional documents regarding this, such as his bank statements, etc.?
