Mouse or keyboard?

So I used to use mouse but switched to keyboard (arrow key) a while ago and beat a few demons with it, but not Im doing sakupen egg and idk why but I feel like I spam better on wave with mouse?? I also feel like I get a better grip on mouse rather than keyboard. I ask this cause many people say keyboard is better.
