Niche Advice Needed: Base Hourly Rate filters on Tryst
Hi! Looking for input & advice from anyone who may have helpful considerations regarding the following personal Tryst conundrum:
CONTEXT:
I am currently building up a new-persona. I previously was face-out & catered to a very specific kink audience, high end rates, very long dates (in order to provide my service properly—so wasn’t an issue). About 5 years, burnt me out. Took a break for a few months.
Now I’m face in, different audience, different services, & having to start from scratch as of November 2025. Site is up & perfected, social media is getting established, ads are up. I don’t have professional photos yet (I want this to be as untraceable from my old persona as possible, so doing all new things).
I am currently getting like the minimum # of dates for me to be satisfied. Any lower would feel concerning, but I can definitely do with a slight increase in #s.
CURRENT SITUATION:
A. I prefer longer bookings for my own comfort, lifestyle, & I feel it allows me to create a better experience for clients.
B. Because of this, my minimum service is multi-hour. This service as a whole is within high-end pricing BUT…
C. Technically, my hourly is mid-range. However, they can’t actually book a single hour.
D. Right now, my “Base Hourly Rate” is legitimately listed as what that hourly is. It works for guys who filter for mid-range & looking to book multi hours.
But many of these mid-range guys, do not read through of course… so they message me about 1 hours as they never get to the part about me not offering single hours at this rate. I imagine there’s also others who filter, click on my profile, and realize my minimum service is actually not just that filtered cost.
So I think, maybe I’m unintentionally misleading the mid rangers?
In turn, I assume I’m losing the high end audience, who would expect to pay these prices & filters based on the expected quality of that more expensive experience.
Eventually, I loop back around to, well, I wouldn’t be competitive among the high end girls again without a few shoots under my belt anyways.
TLDR: Is it best to actually list my hourly minimum, or to list the minimum of what a client would pay for my services (as I don’t do an hourly)? Do clients use the base hourly filter as much as I imagine?
