Hcc or blinn

I got rejected from engineering and need help choosing a pathway. I’m planning to do a year of community college and try to transfer over my sophomore year, but I’m stuck in between choosing blinn and hcc. I’m more biased towards hcc since it’s closer to me and I wouldn’t have to dorm. But can someone explain the pros and cons of each college?
