American Pro II Vmod pickups

Is it just me or does anyone else find these pickups kinda weak and dull? It’s been about 3 years since I have it and at that time it was my first American Fender so I didn’t wanted to do the typical pickup swap that you do on cheaper guitars cause I thought since your paying about $2k the sound would be better than a classic vibe with antiquity pickups, so I still have mixed feelings about changing them, even though I know that’s the only way to get the bright neck strat sound I like…
