Blind Spot Monitoring audible alarm?

My 24 TR blind spot monitoring shows a flashing LED on mirror but no audible alarm. The car literally beeps for all kinds of different things but not this, which seems a bit backwards to me. I checked for possible settings but cannot find anything. Anyone else’s car do this?
