Actual change feels impossible at this point
To be honest I don't even really want to change, but I know I will be forced to sooner or later. I have been a NEET for 8 years at this point, and even before that I was a loner spending all of my time at either school or my room.
At this point, I really don't think there is any hope for me. I am fat, shy, slow, lazy, undisciplined, never worked, can't drive, stutter when I speak, struggle to remember things, and I can just go on and on and on. I have left the house probably 6 times last year.
I'm in Canada which always gets talked about in terms of how hard it is to find a job, how rent is out of control, and then there's me. Who in their right mind would hire a late 20s loser like me over someone younger and not so useless? And even if by some miracle I do get hired somewhere, it would likely be some dead end job since I can't do much else, and even then I think I would get fired pretty quickly.
My mom supports me, but what happens once she is gone? I will have to take care of myself, but I genuinely can't. I panic at the tiniest things. It really feels like my only two options for the future are homelessness or roping.
