Pain level

Considering getting my eyebrow pierced but I’m worried heavily about the pain level, can anyone who’s done tell me if it’s as bad as people make it out to be? And also could I also have my eyebrow slit while the eyebrow piercing is in or would I have to wait additionally pass the healing stage?
